WAYS OF TELLING
There are many ways to listen to a story.
Alone, in a group, in a theatre, by a fireside, with friends and without. In darkness, or aided by light.
Here are some common ways of telling, though you're welcome to suggest your own.

Solo
In a small space, indoors or out, listen to The Wordman read/tell a tale, using only his voice, playing all the characters, narrating, reciting, sometimes adding sound, but always pure and primal.
Best for
Small groups of people, under 20 listeners, in a quiet space. Can also be performed amplified for a larger group depending upon the space itself.

With a Partner(s)
Also meant for a small space, listen to two or more voices read/tell a tale that needs more voices. Ideally used for more theatrical or operatic works not written merely in the first or third person.
Best for
Small groups of people, under 20 listeners, in a quiet space. Can also be performed amplified for a larger group depending upon the space itself.

As a Theatrical Performance
WIth all the bells and whistles, performed on an indoor or outdoor stage, complete with actors, costumes and props. You and your friends can even be part of the cast. The Wordman has done over 120 plays, so you're in good hands.
Best for
Large groups, ideally over forty people. The show can be customised, which takes time - anywhere from a month to four. You can also pick something from an existing repertoire.

CREATE A STORY

"Between 2000 and 2600 years ago, a Brahmin on the banks of the Ganga defied tradition to experiment with dead bodies floating down the river. His purpose - to perform the world's first breast augmentation surgery, what we now like to call a boob job....."
Real stories, true stories, histories, science, evolution, wars, kings, inventions, the human tale, told in a way that will make history seem more exciting than any movie.
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair..."
The great timeless tomes, or newer writers - any tales that exist in words or verse shall be put to voice, depending on what the audience desires.
"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort."
A fantasy - either yours or someone else's - told in such a way you'll be drawn into worlds that never existed, yet seem more real than your own, if only for a spell of time.
"I am an invisible man. No, I am not a spook; nor am I one of your Hollywood-movie ectoplasms. I am a man of substance, of flesh and bone, fiber and liquids—and I might even be said to possess a mind. I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me."
Have your own story created especially for you, and performed for an audience of your choosing, even at a wedding or birthday, or as a gift to a friend.
