Of Words & Verse
Words have power. However, spoken words have far more power than those upon a page. The silent reading of the written word is a fairly modern phenomenon, for stories and poems have always, throughout history, been an oral and aural form. In some ways, the proliferation of printed books has killed our love for language, especially for poetry and rhythm.
The Wordman wants to bring back the power of words by taking them off the written page and putting them into the air, where they belong, and where your ears can be caught up in the magic they weave.
A footnote from history for those who did not know: Charles Dickens became famous because his books were read aloud across the world, not consumed in silence.
